The challenge is figuring out which one to use. In addition, a number of printed “golf pocket guides” have also entered the market and attempt to sort out the most useful golf help tips and golf instruction that you can apply as you play. These golf pocket guides, like the mobile phone applications, are growing rapidly in popularity because they are easily portable (unlike “old school” golf books), provide useful golf tips and are highly affordable.

To help sort through these popular golf pocket guides, whether printed products or mobile applications, the following is a checklist of what to look for:

Is the golf pocket guide comprehensive? It is of no use if you have to buy five different golf pocket guides to fill up your mobile phone or golf bag to cover the basics of the game. Look for a golf pocket guide that covers all the basic golf tips for all phases of the game, yet is easily portable and concise.
Is the golf pocket guide easy to understand? Portable golf tips have been around for years, but most have done a poor job with breaking down the game in a helpful way. Few have rich graphics to make the golf lessons and golf help tips easy to absorb. So look for a golf pocket guide that provides a combination of great graphics and concise tips from top notch instructors.
Is the golf pocket guide credible? A good golf pocket guide is really worth its weight in gold. How many times have you had a swing flaw or wanted to know how to hit a certain shot and rather then spend a ton of time researching the answer, you opted to get a quick lesson because you trusted your pro? Golf lessons are definitely recommended and are the quickest way to develop your game, but where do you turn to get the quick tip that you can trust? This is where a credible and trusted golf pocket guide comes in. So when you are researching which one you should choose, select one that has solid reviews and developed by PGA professionals, not business people looking for a quick buck.

 -
About the Author:
Find more about golf guide that can help you to fix your golf slice. If you are planning to go alone or with one or more fellow golf enthusiasts, things will likely be a lot simpler when it comes to booking the holiday. Going with a larger group or with family, especially if there are people coming with you who are not golfers, can complicate things. You may also want to consider having everything handled by a travel agency.

Considering your budget is another major factor. Golfing vacations rarely come cheap, especially if you plan to go to a top quality resort and stay in the resorts accommodation as well. Though more convenient, a full golf resort package can get very expensive. Nonetheless, there may be some special offers occasionally and this is something your local travel agency may be able to help you with, or a bit of research on the net.

To make sure that you have the perfect golf holiday all planned out, you will also want to consider your own degree of enthusiasm for golf. For great enthusiasts, only the best golf courses will do and prices will also be considerably higher. In these cases, it is best to stick only with those who share your enthusiasm rather than having people who don’t just tagging along. If you are more of an amateur, you may want to choose a golf holiday in a location where there are plenty of other activities available as well.

When you have shortlisted the best golf resorts, you should contact each one to find out further details about tee times, booking procedures and transport amongst others. You should familiarize yourself with exactly what is included in the package and what is not. This way you should be able to stop yourself from going over budget. Go prepared as well, making sure that you get the equipment you need far in advance to save missing out on anything.

For those planning to travel with others who do not care for golf so much, it is also important to take them into consideration. Location, in this case, is particularly important. You will need to find a resort where there are plenty of other entertainment options and tourist activities as well. This way, you can enjoy your passion without having to be concerned about those traveling with you.

 -
About the Author:
More : Golf Villas
Article Source

Choosing the Right Tire for Your Golf Cart

golf

When thinking of golf carts, the first image that comes to mind is probably the golf course. While this may be the most common purpose for golf carts, their uses are much more varying.

Golf carts have become popular vehicles for a number of situations. They can be seen on corporate campuses, college campuses, construction sites, airports, neighborhoods and country residences. Valued for their energy efficiency and versatility, golf carts are used for much more than golf.

Because of the growing popularity of golf carts, a large variety of customizable parts, tires and other accessories have risen to meet the range of needs. Especially when it comes to tires, the standard fairway tires aren’t going to meet the requirements of many other situations.

Choosing the right tires for your golf cart is important. The right tire will perform better, last longer and provide an increased level of safety. While there are now dozens of varieties of tread pattern and construction types, golf cart tires can be lumped into three main categories. These will put you on the right track in your search for tires:

1. Grass or Turf Tires
These are the standard golf cart tires, approved for use on many golf courses. They will have a lighter rubber and a smoother tread that offers better traction on grass while not causing too much damage to the fragile turf.

Due do the thinner rubber construction, these tires will puncture more easily if taken off road and will not offer a high level of traction on dirt or gravel paths. These types of tires are ideal for golf course or country club use.

2. Road or Pavement Tires
These tires are built with a different density and tread that allows for increased traction on paved surfaces. Road tires are constructed with a heavier rubber that will stand up to use on asphalt and concrete.

They are often built to withstand slightly higher speeds as well. These would be the ideal tires in neighborhoods, campuses or any place where a majority of use will take place on pavement.

3. Off-road or All Terrain Tires
Just as their name suggests, these tires are build to handle off-road situations. They are constructed of a heavy rubber that can withstand rough and uneven surfaces. Their tread is much more pronounced, giving them better traction as well.

All terrain tires may be a wise choice for use on construction sites or areas where traction and durability are a high priority. They will not be the most efficient on pavement or golf courses but in the right situations, off-road tires are a must.

While most tires fall into one of these three categories, you will find wide range of tires within each. You may also find a selection of hybrids that are built to bridge a variety of situations. The important thing is to find an appropriate tire for your cart. When paired with a proper tire, your golf cart will perform at its highest potential.

 -
About the Author:
Ryan McSparran is a freelance writer based in Denver, Colorado. Playing golf is not one of the most economical sports in the world. Unlike basketball where a single ball is needed for two teams to play and maybe, just maybe, some specialized shoes, a golfer requires a lot more gear to get going and that gear, or at least some of it, will have to be replaced from time to time. With this in mind, smart golfers often look for good golf discount store locations to help them keep their passion in financial check.

Considering the expense of golf doesn’t stop when all the gear is purchased, it is particularly smart to save money where possible. After all, a golfer will likely also have to pay for greens fees, cart rentals, perhaps even a caddy and more. So, saving a little here and there without sacrificing quality is a good idea.

Stores that specialize in golf discount equipment aren’t necessarily selling used items or seconds either. There are plenty of discount locations that offer everything a golfer needs to be fully outfitted with the best or darn close to it, but they simply don’t charge as much.

The cost savings without quality sacrifice can be accomplished in a number of different ways. Some discount stores only offer their items for sale on the Internet. This provides savings in several different ways. By not having an actual “storefront,” the Internet discount store saves on overhead, which can be passed along to a customer. Also, by going the Internet route, the store opens its base for customers. Instead of only pulling shoppers from a set geographic location, these stores can have customers from all over the world – literally. The increase in potential sales can equate to an ability to purchase in bulk from manufacturers or suppliers, which means discounts for the customers. So, no matter whether it’s brand name items or lesser names, there are still a number of ways savings can be passed along. Plus, the need for a lot of employees is also largely removed.

The large discount golf outlets that have storefronts in a number of locations can pass along savings from bulk purchases. The buying power of the bigger discount chains can be incredible and is noted in other areas as well.

In the case of smaller storefront discount locations, there’s always the possibility of smart stocking and even lowered overhead due to more of an emphasis on inventory than store appearance.

There are a number of ways good golf discount shops can help their customers realize great savings without sacrificing quality. Shopping around these discount stores can help a golfer get fully equipped without breaking the bank, so it really pays to check them out. Discount for golf is your optimal choice.

Just make sure you buy what you truly need and pay attention to quality cues and stick with the names you’re comfortable with when possible. Many discount outlets are able to provide name brands or at least name brand quality. If you have to have the Ping clubs, save money on other items to make up for the expense. After all, some things simply can’t be sacrificed.

Related golf clubs

Ping G10 Driver

TaylorMade Burner SuperFast TP Driver

 -
About the Author:
Discount for golf is just for you!
Discount golf clubs and Golf equipment on sale expect your participation!
Article Source

Finding A Good Golf Product Is A Lot Easier With The Net

golf

To find a good golf product one can subscribe to one of the many regular ezines, or email newsletters available online that deal with golf and golf products. Here the advantage is that you will be able to read comments from numerous other golfers some of whom are bound to be experiencing exactly the same problems that you are facing. This is the true magic of blogs and one of the reasons why they have become so popular online.

However there is a range of golf products maybe they are discount golf or wholesale golf that you will need to be very careful about. More so because they are marketed very aggressively online, usually accompanied with a lot of hype. And these are golf products that promise to improve your game.

It is a big mistake to place your focus on what a product will do without first focusing on your weaknesses in the game and getting a clear strategy or direction on how you can improve those areas of your game. It is then very easy to see if the golf improvement product fits into your program or not.

This way you will save yourself a lot of time, cash and trouble tinkering with golf products that will not be able to have any impact on your golf game.

Most of these golf improvement products involve exercises and so if you are able to get some advice from a golf exercise expert, it can also be of great help to you

 -
About the Author:
nicole
Article Source

Grip Enhancer For Sports

golf

Athletes are gradually learning the importance of a grip enhancer is sports. By eliminating moisture, grip enhancers allow athletes to perform at their highest potential. Whether its golf, baseball, tennis, football or weightlifting, having a better grip will essentially give you the edge.

There are a variety of grip enhancers on the market. However, there are a few distinctions among each company.

Quick Grip: Quick Grip offers athletes the best in gripping ability without the stickiness. This is important because other products are extremely sticky and can interfere with other aspects of your game. For example, a baseball player using pine tar and then going out into the field to throw a ball around. Quick Grip gives you an adequate grip without having your hands sticking together. The spray application makes it great for any sport. (QuickGripGolf.com)

Stickigrips: Stickigrips is another grip enhancer with a cloth application. This is a great product for wet conditions. It is excessively sticky and can get irritating at times if used in dry conditions. Works great for any sports. (Stickigrips.com)

Stickum: Stickum was a very popular product with football players. This spray on grip enhancer is also excessively tacky, but works best for wet conditions. Comes in a spray can or jelly. Stickum works best for sports where you need an extremely good grip. It has been banned from football but is still legal in other sports.

Handdri: Handdri is a unique grip enhancer due to its application. It comes in small carry case to hold the bag application method. Gripping the bag transfers a sand like material onto your hands, giving you an enhanced grip. This product can get irritating at times because of the friction associated with the abrasive. (Handdri.com)

DryHands: Dry Hands is a very convenient product. The small bottle size makes it great for golf. Its easy to apply and isn’t excessively sticky. This can be a negative aspect about the product though. The fact that it dries your hands doesn’t mean you’ll get an enhanced grip.

Gorilla Gold: Perhaps the most popular grip enhancer. This is a great product for any sports. The grip enhancing cloths need to be stored in a re-sealable bag to keep the towel moist. The two negative aspects are the duration of the product and excessive tackiness. If stored in the bag, Gorilla Gold cloths will last five weeks.

If performing to your highest potential is a priority as an athlete, you should always use a grip enhancer. Most, if not all athletes use some type of grip enhancer to give themselves the edge. Use one of the above products and you’ll see a tremendous increase in performance. If tackiness isn’t an issue for you, go for Gorilla Gold or Stickigrips. To get a good grip without the stickiness, I recommend Quick Grip.

 -
About the Author:
College athletic director. Even though both of them serve to help for the same purpose of carrying the golf equipments from one hole to another in the course, both of them differ in their functional capability and performance. If you are wondering which one to choose for your needs, then you should first understand the merits and demerits of the both.

Electric golf carts run by the power of charged batteries, while the gas-powered carts make use of gasoline for its operation. They both are intended to provide with the best comfort and safety during the game. Electric golf carts were the carts that were introduced in the market before the arrival of the gas powered carts. But still, when compared to gas powered carts, the electric carts are much more efficient in operating without producing any noise or without polluting the air. Since they work by batteries, you require charging the batteries regularly to get them at best performance. But they do not have more power to run through the hilly surface of the course as compared to the gas powered golf carts.

The only demerit that was found in the case of electric cart was actually the need for electric supply so as to charge the battery. But now, the latest technological breakthrough provides with solar panels that can be attached to the cart from which the battery charging can be done. Regular maintainance of the batteries is also important. Remember that the battery can cause fire if it runs dry, so it is important to immerse it with distilled water regularly to maintain its condition. You can easily detect the drying of your batteries from the smell it produces. When you are applying brakes, depress the accelerator by turning the key towards R. You can move in the reverse direction when the brake is released automatically. In order to go forward, depressing the accelerator by turning the key towards D is suggested. With some practice, you can easily drive in your cart for any personal needs other than for golfing.

 -
About the Author:
Spitzer Products offers the best selection of Golf Carts. These pouters have been specially designed so that golfers can club the ball well and the force with which it gets hit is retained while it travels in the sir. The force is retained when the ball takes on a certain trajectory. The putters ensure that the ball is struck at the right place and lands very well on the turf without making a lot of bounces or hitting a rough corner. The Rife Golf Putters have made the art of clubbing easier and ensure that the force or vigor with which a golf ball gets clubbed stays in it while the ball is in the air and all set to land near a hole.

There are good putters and then there are those which do not bring in the ideal result. Identifying the right ones to enhance the level of your game is very important. The right putters ensure that golf is played at its best and can be taken to a different level anytime. They give you the license to play golf freely. They ensure that you do not become apprehensive while clubbing the ball. They give you the confidence to position yourself properly and hit the ball such that you are confident of the ball landing at the right place. All of this can only happen when you swing with the right putter. But first, how to spot appropriate rife golf putters?

The design says it all. The right putters have a unique design. All the weight has been directed towards the bottom. The bottom will be very thick and nicely done. It is the position where the golfer is supposed to direct all the force towards. The point from where the ball has to swing too is very thick with the top being a little slender. The top is connected to a slanted rod which is further connected to a lithe and straight handle. The golfer holds it to club the ball. These types of putters are usually the two bar putters. The two bar hybrids also have some space in the plank connected to the rod. This ensures that even the plank has a single point of contact which the golfer should master if he desires to connect the ball well.

These are certain smart observations you have to make while you choose these Galvin green golf clubs. The Galvin Green Waterproofs too have to be chosen in the same way. Such Galvin Green Golf Accessories are made in a very peculiar way and get made for the occasion. They have to be identified very carefully so that the results come in well. If you have appropriate Galvin Green Waterproofs on board, then you can always be assured of a good game. Your game will have lesser flaws and you will be in a position to strike the ball well. You will be proud of your choice in the end.

 -
About the Author:
Maximus Golf offers Rife Golf Putters, Galvin Green Golf, Galvin Green Waterproofs and Tour Edge Golf in UK.
